Another Look At SweediesOne day, although I already knew =SweediesArt, I had decided to look in her gallery. I was very impressed with the way she handles light and dark, and I felt that her compositions and conceptual themes were more than interesting. I just had to put her on my devwatch.
Although she was recently interviewed by my friend *XilaPhoenixArt, I wanted to know more about her feelings about her art, so I invited her to participate in this series of . I present to you, yet another interview with =SweediesArt. Enjoy!Q. What is important to you concerning light in your deviations?
The most important are that the angle of the light are coming from the same direction on every stock. So, for example, the model stock has light from left and the background light is from the right and on the trees from above. In that case I flip some of the stocks so the light is facing the right way.
One other thing is the shadow of items must fits the light source
Interview with SweediesInterview with :iconsweedies:
First goes first: Karin, tell us a bit about yourself please.
My name is Karin Claesson and I am a single woman.
I live in a small town at the west coast of Sweden, 15 minutes north from Gothenburg.
My age is not important but I have two grown up children, 29 and 21 years old.
Half my life I have worked in a hospital and the other half in a daycare for small children. But I don't have work today because I've done four surgeries on my back because of all heavy lifts in my work. I'm feeling fine nowadays so I'm looking for a new job.
What were your first steps into the photomanipulation world?
It was when I had my third back surgery in 2006 and found my daughter's photoshop on our computer. Bored to death, I start playing with it and I was hooked for life. I love to create in photoshop!
Do you like getting comments and critiques and what do you do with them?
Yes, absolutely!! I love to have comments. It's a great way to get feedb
